Sanitary napkins today are no more dull, awkward and embarrassing products. It's just another hygiene product and not something which we should hide. Hygienic napkins being a feminine product colour, should be in pastels, pink, purple or blue, which symbolizes trust and a girly feel. Package designing should include delicate flowers, swirls, pearls, and butterflies representing females' independent, confident, peaceful and beautiful nature. Since feminine hygiene products have been mass-produced, one of the priorities in their packaging design has been hiding the nature of the product inside the pack. So that women should not feel embarrassed when they purchase them. But over the years, package design strategy has changed; rather than looking like a generic hygiene item like toilet paper or toothpaste, sanitary napkins and tampons are more colourful and classy. A few innovative brands, such as CORA and Kotex, created boxes similar to jewellery kits for girls aged 10-12 to make them user-friendly.
