Masala Packaging Design – Spices and herbs can be a fruit, seed, bark, root, leaf, or any other plant substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring or preserving food items. Many spices even have antimicrobial properties and had been used by Indians for thousands of years for both culinary and health purposes.

Vast History of Indian Spices. Medical writings of two ancient surgeons, Charaka from the 1st century and Susruta II from 2nd century referenced spices and herbs and had used a poultice from sesame to post-operation wounds. In Ayurvedic medicine, spices such as cardamom and cloves were wrapped in betel-nut leaves and chewed after meals to upturn the flow of saliva and help in digestion.

In ancient history, spices were also a source of trade and were too valuable as items of exchange and business. For example, the Bible also witnesses that in Queen Sheba 1000 BC, visited King Solomon in Jerusalem and had offered him 120 measures of gold and precious stones in return of black pepper and many spices.

Spice Pouch Packaging, Protecting and Presenting

Protection and precision are essential in delivering the best quality spices to the customers. So Masala Packaging Design is very crucial as it keeps the product untouched and in place. It also prevents damage during transport and storage from the elements, vibration, and compression through a physical layer of protection. Packaging and presentation run parallel. If a product packaging is beautiful, creative and unique, it will make a huge difference in the market and will surely stand out your product from the rest of your competitor.

BREAKING THE OLD TRENDS

Modernization is only about using the traditional methods in a modified way. Soon, the Spice Packaging Design is going to emerge out with a new pattern. Instead of pouring the whole masala’s in a single packet, it will come into sasses’. The essential elements which make the spices vulnerable are their oils. But once, the Packet is open, and the essential oils evaporate out thus leaving behind only the dry spice residue. Hence, degrading the spices flavor and quality! Sasse’s Packaging will not only maintain the internal integrity and taste of the spices but also help in just using the fresh and required amount of spices. Sasse’s packaging is becoming very popular and is easy to use and keep.
